What is poetry? Poetry, also known as verse, is a type of literature that utilises sound and images to express ideas and feelings. There are various types of poetry, from haikus, limericks, riddles, sonnets and so on. The earliest form of poetry was called epic poems, and it dates backs to hundreds of centuries. Poems can paint a picture in our minds or make us feel a certain way. It was originally recited, or spoken aloud to an audience. One of the most popular forms of writing short poems is the haiku. “Haiku” is a traditional form of Japanese poetry. Haiku poems consist of three lines. The first and last lines of a Haiku have five syllables and the middle line has seven syllables. The lines rarely rhyme. Mahabharata is the longest poem in the world. Does reading fiction help us be better people? THE BEAUTIFUL lines in novels, movies and TV sows often have powerful effects in people's minds. Some believe reading fiction and watching TV can make them a better person. Various studies have proved this in infact true.  Fiction enhances our ability to understand other people. It promotes a deep ethicality that cuts across religious and political faiths. Many researchers have proved that fictional stories can really change our views. As the psychologist Raymond Mar writes, "Researchers have repeatedly found that reader attitudes shift to become more congruent with the ideas expressed in a (fiction) narrative."  Like books, TV shows too leave a deep impact on a person's mind. For example, when a TV serial shows how gay families are treated without judgment (say, Modern Family), our own views in homosexuality also tend to move in the same nonjudgmental direction.  Reading fiction, on the other hand, helps you ...

Every Darkness has a story, Listen by heart you'll get the theory. I'm leaving my stories in these dark nights. As the Year Flew, Our Memories Grew, We stepped out for something   New, People would change, I always Knew, As the year flew.... In th e sky, Twinkling of Stars, Shining of Moon, Darkness of Night, But At the midnight, As the last years flew .... Excitement and Crackers glow Dark Night, Shining Moon become invisible at night, Twinkling Stars started Playing Hide & Seek, Atmosphere Become bright in night so is day, Rainbow in Sky at the midnight, As the new years start... One night, I saw in my dream. At that dream, We are together. But Someone don't like us together. They kidnapped you, from front of my eyes. I start chasing you everywhere. They put you in an ice cream store. & start turning you into an ice cream. Now your legs become conical. Your hair become jelly. Two cherry were in your eyes. And oops! there was no belly. You have to fight through some bad days to earn the best days of your life. You don't need more time in your day. you need to decide.  There is no substitute for hard work.  It does not matter hoe slowly you go as long as you do not stop  "Hard times don't create heroes. It is  during the hard times when the 'hero' within us is revealed"  When someone is going through a storm, your silent presence is more powerful than a million empty words. Life is a circle of happiness, sadness, hard times, and good times, if you are going through  a hard time,  know that good times are on the way. Nobody who ever gave his best regretted it.
